Shot Journal provides virtual basketball practice, shooting tips, training plans, and records of in-app basketball sessions. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not require registration, an account, or a personal profile. Its standard features do not request your name, email address, telephone number, contacts, photographs, or precise location.
If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and message. We use it to respond to your request.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following information locally:
•Training plans, shooting goals, court positions, and selected angles.
•Recorded basketball attempts, successful baskets, scores, shot-power values, and session history.
•Language preferences and sound settings.
This information supports training features and statistics. Training records are not uploaded to a developer-operated account database or synchronized through an account-based cloud service.
Five-attempt practice rounds are temporary and are not added to saved training history or goal statistics.
3. Permissions, Advertising, and Third Parties
The App’s standard features do not require access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photo library, or precise location.
The current training application does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information or use training records for targeted advertising.
If application content or the privacy webpage is delivered online, hosting providers may process connection information, such as IP addresses and resource requests, to deliver that content. These requests do not include your locally stored training records.
4. Retention and Deletion
Local records remain on your device until cleared or removed.
Use Clear Records to delete saved training history and reset its summary statistics. The Undo option can temporarily restore recently cleared records while its backup remains available in the current application session. Clearing records does not reset separate language, sound, or training-plan preferences.
Uninstalling the App or clearing its application data may remove other local information. Device backup and restoration settings may affect whether information is retained or restored.
Support messages are retained only as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of information you have sent directly to us.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App does not require personal information from children to use its standard features. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through those features. Please contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information to us.
6. Policy Changes
We may update this policy when the App’s features or privacy practices change. The revised policy will be published on the privacy webpage with an updated date.
